Overview

This is a 6-day adventure trip to Namibia, home to the world’s oldest desert and some of the highest sand dunes. Known as the land of endless horizons this vast Southern African country offers epic landscapes and adventures.

Itinerary

Day 1
Arrive in Namibia

We’ll meet at the airport in Johannesburg and depart on a flight to Windhoek in Namibia. On arrival, we’ll go a walking city tour. This will be followed by a drive to the coastal town of Swakopmund, where we’ll be based for most of the trip.

Day 2
Sightseeing

After breakfast we’ll take a day trip to Spitzkoppe, the “Matterhorn of Namibia”. This is a group of bald granite peaks located in the Namib desert, the granite is more than 120 million years old.

Day 3
Desert Kings and Queens

We’re going sandboarding down dunes outside Swakopmund! you can either do stand-up boarding (which is like snowboarding, but on sand) or you can do lie-down boarding, or you can be a boss and do both! No previous experience is required here, just a spirit of adventure.

Day 4
Quad Biking through desert dunes

We’re going quad biking through the Namib dune belt, where we’ll experience the thrill of riding through Namibia’s boundless expanse of shifting sand dunes and enjoy some spectacular views from some of the highest dunes in the WORLD.

Day 5
Bye Coast Life

Leave Swakopmund and drive back to Windhoek.

Day 6
Homecoming

Strangers will have turned into friends and lifelong memories will have been created. We’re gonna head to the airport and fly back to Johannesburg.

Can I come alone?

Yes, you can join a group trip by yourself, with friends or with a partner.

What kind of people usually sign up for these trips?

There are different kinds of people [read characters] who sign up, but it’s usually young, open-minded adventure seekers.

I’m not in Johannesburg, can I join?

Yes, you will need to get yourself to Johannesburg though.

Is there a payment plan?

Secure your spot with a non-refundable deposit, then pay the balance in monthly installments, or pay in full.

Is travel insurance provided?

No, please arrange your own travel and personal belongings insurance.

Will I share accommodation?

Yes, accommodation is shared = 2 people per room. But you can also request a single room (at an extra cost) if you prefer
